The memorial museum has received legal the state registration in January, 09-th, 2003. The museum is created for coordination of establishments of the culture which are included, development of a tourist direction of work, the organization of exhibition and security activity of unique exhibits, increase of national pride and patriotism of rising generation of Russia, popularization of achievements of aircraft, both in Russia, and behind her limits. On our site you in brief can get acquainted with a history of our edge, life, activity of legendary pilot Valery Pavlovich Chkalov and by remarkable artists, evolved on the Vasilevsk ground. The city of Chkalovsk given to Russia and all world of Valer Pavlovich Chkalov, made with the crew unprecedented and the first in a history of aircraft non-stop flight through North Pole to America, since August, 28, 1937 carries a name of the hero. We wait for you on a visit, for more full and interesting acquaintance by a history of Russia, development of aircraft and cultural values.
